The route. First night out we stopped at the big pan between Mopipi and Rakops (dust capital of Botswana), put up the tents, and the strong wind with dust decided that we would make supper indoors. We had a tolerable nasi goreng, as Roger has reminded me

On the way back from Tsodilo on the bumpy 40km sand road, the rover suddenly stopped. It took a while to work out that we had reached the end of tank 1 and needed to change to tank 2. On tar, it is easier to notice when the first tank runs out
