David Young Xcursions: Ikati Elibomvu-the boat

Contacts

One reason for the move to Gaborone: it had a yacht club. Bought the Halcat in 1979, and sailed & raced for 20-some years. Away regattas raced at Klerksdorp (towed by mini van: wing mirrors usable inside the hulls), Vaal dam, Disaneng dam and Shashe dam. Ikati has been resting at plot 915 since 2006, with cover on and under shade tree until 2021. Will need a repaired or new boat cover. There is a road trailer with spare wheel. Trailer is registered and licenced for Botswana. Sails and mast are indoors. Various spares and rigging kit. Looking for offers around P12,500.
