- Cultural an educational buildings in Venezuela- from the last third of the 19th Century to our days - have been formally conceived using primary shapes.
- The shapes as formal codes have become icons associating the school building to its function, and preventing the school from fading into the busy and eclectic city image of Caracas and other Venezuelan cities.
- The following examples belong to projects of a Venezuelan Preschool, an Elementary and Middle School and an agro technical school, where art, nature and buildings are assembled harmoniously, yet the relationship between the use of space and materials is cost effective, in keeping with the ever growing demand of educational buildings in a developing country.
